How do I join?
Click on the 'Free sign-up' link, complete the form and select the class you want to join.
When can I start?
Once you have completed the form, simply turn up to your chosen class.
Do I need to book on to classes?
No, we do not require you to book lessons in advance.
What time are the classes?
Our timetable can be found on our Home Page, click the link at the top of the page.
What do I need to wear?
Tracksuit bottoms or shorts and a t-shirt or long sleeved top is fine.
Do I need anything else?
Bring a bottle of water!
For MMA a groin guard and gum shield are advised.
We have some kit you can use for your first few MMA lessons.
Jiu Jitsu uniforms, boxing gloves, and MMA sparring kit can all be purchased through the club.
How much are Training Fees?
Lesson 1 is a free trial lesson.
Lesson 2 is £6 per lesson for juniors, and £10 for adults, this is payable at the start of each lesson.
Following lesson 2, please speak with your coach about setting up monthly, in advance, payments by Direct Debit (DD) / Standing Order (SO).
DD can take 7-10 working days for the first payment to clear, so please continue to pay as above at the start of each lesson until the DD payment has cleared.

How much is Membership?
Annual Membership runs from January 1st – December 31st:
This is a one off, yearly payment that gives you membership to The Combat Academy, it also includes membership to The United Kingdom Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association (UKBJJA) usual cost £15.
UKBJJA membership includes cover under their member-to-member liability insurance. Please note this is not personal injury insurance.
For new students, annual membership is payable after your 4th lesson.
For existing students, it is payable January 1st.

Adults £30
Payment details for annual membership will be sent to your Personal Membership Profile that you set up when joining the club.
Are you open during the school holidays?
Yes, for juniors, we offer lessons throughout the majority of the school holidays, and subject to sufficient interest, we aim to provide a minimum of 48 weeks of lessons per year. Adult classes run pretty much all year.
