If you are unmatched and would like to be moved to a category that is listed, please e-mail us by the correction deadline, otherwise a refund will be issued.
FAQ: Is there a weight allowance?
A. There is no weight allowance on the scales, 0.1 kg over the weight = overweight.
If you fail to make weight on the day, you will be disqualified.
We do not guarantee that you will be moved to a new weight category on the day.
For the Gi event, the athlete must weigh-in wearing their Gi and belt.
If you have any doubt about making weight it is respectfully suggested that you move up a weight before the correction deadline.
If you are unable to compete and have found a replacement, details of the replacement must be submitted by the correction deadline.
The Correction Deadline is 23:59 on the Monday before the event.
Is your name and team name correct?
Are you in the correct category?

No changes will be permitted after this date.
Weigh-in Times:
If you are competing in the Gi and the NoGi, or the Gi and the Cash Prize Absolute, you will only have to weigh-in once.

On The Day:
Doors open 09:00
Please ensure you are in the warm-up area, ready to fight at the stated time.
We do not need to see you before this time.
You must remain in the warm-up area until you have finished all of your fights.
The table staff will not run around the centre looking for you. If you are not in the warm-up area when called, your fight will go down as a loss.
You cannot weigh-in early, but you can have a test weigh. If you make weight on a test weight, you will still have to weigh-in and make weight at the stated time for your category.
Some categories have 10+ competitors, therefore although your category may be called, it could be some time before all fighters in those categories get onto the mat.
You may notice that some categories share the same weigh-in times. These are generally the smaller categories that we run concurrently to give competitors sufficient rest between fights without having to leave the mats empty. Most categories (groups of categories) will take approximately 1 hour to complete.
How the Categories will be run
2 in a category will be a straight final.
3 in a category will fight using the IBJJF method.
4+ in a category will be straight elimination.
The medal presentations will take place shortly after your category has finished.

Any swearing, inappropriate gestures, violence (towards person or property) or berating the officials (regardless of any decisions they make) will not be tolerated.
If this happens, the referee/organiser has the right to disqualify that competitor, or to ask the person concerned to leave the area. If those concerned do not comply with the referee/organisers request the competitor will be disqualified from the event.
If a coach, parent or team mate encroaches onto the mat, or past any barriers that are in place, man handles an official in any way, or refuses to follow requests made by an official, that person will be asked to leave the venue and the whole team may not be permitted to take any further part in the competition.
